Q: How many passengers can fly at one time?
A: Up to three passengers can fly at the same time (unless one is under 24 months old). For parties of four or more, multiple trips can be made.
Q: Do your helicopters have weight limits?
A: 300 lbs. is the weight limit for any one passenger. The weight limit for all 3 passengers cannot exceed 600lbs.
Q: Do all of your tours go over the beach?
A: Yes, every tour takes you over the beach for an incredible view of the Grand Strand.
Q: Is there an age limit for passengers?
A: There is no age limit, but passengers under 24 months old must ride on an adults lap.
Q: How are your tours measured and priced?
A: Tours are measured and priced by distance, not time taken to complete them. All tours are priced on a per-person basis. Children under 24 months ride for free.
Q: Are your pilots certified?
A: Our pilots are FAA commercially rated and have passed rigorous safety standards.
Q: Can I use my own camera?
A: Yes! You can use your own camera once you are seated inside the helicopter or outside the fenced area.
Q: What is your safety record?
A: We take pride in our perfect safety record and implement every measure to maintain it.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Summer Hours: 8am – 8pm 7 days a week.
Q: What should we wear?
A: Dress appropriately for the seasons, and for your comfortability. No special attire is necessary for your flight.
Q: Is this similar to a roller coaster ride? Does it cause motion sickness?
A: This is a professional scenic tour, not a thrill ride. It is extremely rare that a passenger experiences motion sickness. Our flights are very smooth and turns are slow and gentle.
Q: How much experience do your pilots have?
A: Our pilots come from varying backgrounds, including military, law enforcement, television/film production and flight school instruction. They are all commercially rated pilots and have passed rigorous FAA and company testing and undergo recurrent training to be in their position as your tour pilot.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: No. While we are happy to schedule a specific time for your flight we are equally as pleased to serve you on a walk-in basis.
Q: Do you ever have delays to your flights?
A: If we are experiencing inclement weather, delays are possible.
Q: Do you have gift certificates available for purchase?
A: Yes, gift certificates can be purchased in person or over the phone.
Q: What happens if I buy a tour and my flight is cancelled due to weather?
A: Our staff will do our best to reschedule your tour for another date and time. If we cannot find an agreed upon date and time for your tour, we will refund you in full. Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Q: Are you open on holidays?
A: Yes, we are open 365 days a year, weather permitting.
Q: Can people who have a handicap take a flight?
A: Absolutely! We are proud to take the necessary time to assist anyone who has the desire to fly with achieving their dream.
